Baby shower centerpieces add a decorative touch to your festive occasion and can really be the “centerpiece” of the party.

Now, when it comes to centerpieces most people automatically think of flowers and flowers are great to have in a centerpiece but if you put some thought into it, you can come up with something a bit more creative to put the flowers in. One thing that can be really fun and inexpensive is to hit up some yard sales and look for cute baby items that could hold flower and would work for the centerpiece. Of course, it would have to be small to fit on the table, but things like a doll carraige and old diaper pail (decorative of course) or even some vintage baby themed planters could be really cute!

Baskets can make great baby shower centerpieces that are decorative and functional. You could have a large wicker basket (spray paint it if you want color!) and fill it with baby items. Diapers, bottles, outfits, stuffed animals – you name it! Then top it off by wrapping in netting or colored cellophane and tying some balloons to it. Better yet, have the party guests each bring an item to add to it and you will have a beautiful and functional centerpiece.

Towel cakes and diaper cakes make really great centerpieces that are practical as well as great conversation pieces. For these items, you take rolled diapers or towels and put them together so that they look like a 3 tiered cake. A variation on this is a diaper booty where the diapers are put together and displayed in the shape of a booty.

As mentioned above, flowers can be great for your centerpieces but an even cuter take on this is a sock flower. This is where you take little baby socks and fashion them into rosebud shapes then stick them on a stem and put them into a vase just like roses!

As you can see, there are plenty of creative baby shower centerpieces that you can use to make your baby shower decorative and memorable!
